Reading books will continue to be handed out on a Friday to be returned on a Monday and Purplemash homework will also be set online each week.

This week we have been learning about Bonfire night. The children enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire at Forest school. We also made firework pictures using lots of different materials and learnt all about shapes.

This week we have started our topic on Julia Donaldson. The first story we are focusing on is 'Superworm'.

The children have really enjoyed investigating real worms and have asked lots of interesting questions about them "Where is his face?" "How does he move?" "Where are his eyes?" "What does he eat?"

Children in need was wonderful this year, the children made their own Pudsey ears and made spotty biscuits too.
